Sandi M. Marques, Accredited Sommelier, International Sommelier Guild and Founder Cork and Karma Inc., is impressively well schooled in both food and wine with Sommelier Accreditation from the prestigious world-renowned International Sommelier Guild, as well as a business degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Ryerson University; a Culinary Diploma, George Brown College, Toronto Canada; Accreditation from Canadian Personal Property Appraisers Group as a wine appraiser and most recently,  Ms. Marques has been bestowed the honour of being on the elite list of the Who's Who of Executives and Professionals.

A respected professor at John Abbott College, Quebec, Canada teaching the “Wine Discovery Series”, Sandi also teaches budding sommeliers to gain their sommelier certificate at Algonquin College, Ottawa, Canada. One of the few sommeliers with a culinary diploma AND experience in the hospitality and restaurant business, including the Four Season’s Hotel and the five star exclusive Relais et Châteaux, Langdon Hall hotel.

Influences thousands with regular newspaper columns, monthly wine blogs and radio shows. Sandi has appeared on CTV News Montreal and Kitchener, CJAD radio and is a regular wine contributor on the New940 radio Montreal. She was also featured in a lifestyle/horizons report for Associated Press Television NEWS --largest news service in the world providing  reports to TV networks and newspapers around the globe-- which talked about the health benefits of moderate wine drinking. In June 2007, she was featured in Canada's premier lifestyle magazine, Chatelaine. Most recently, she has appeared in 'The Bride and Bloom' magazine with a feature article on how to pair wines for your special day.

As one of Canada's few accredited wine appraisers, she manages and appraises restaurant and individual wine cellars/collections for divorce, estate, financing, insurance and inventory purposes while offering services on how to stock cellars.

Kristina Boudaeva is a corporate and private event planer specializing in the intricate planning, designing, and orchestrating of your entire event. She and her creative team offer experience in the finest event management and production.

Kristina’s background as VP of Event Logistics at the prestigious John Molson School of Business, Sports Marketing Association and as senior program analyst at McGill University Health Center, along with her in depth computer skills have allowed her to be responsible for a broad scope of corporate, private and fundraising events.

Born and raised in Komsomolsk sur Amur, Russia, Kristina has traveled extensively throughout the world, having lived in 5 countries, including the US, Canada, Algeria and Uzbekistan. Her creativity comes from those experiences and numerous visits abroad, China, South Korea, Brazil, France, Great Britain, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Panama, Turkey and Mexico.

Based in Montreal for the past 9 years, Kristina founded the event planning company Classic Events and has a reputation now for ensuring every detail has been anticipated and no detail overlooked.

Katrina Hann is a highly regarded professional sommelier with a long career history of service excellence. She began her career at the AIR CANADA CLUB in the Bell Center in Montreal as a server to private diners and members only.

Shortly after, she opened a french bistro-style restaurant with a highly successful chef. Here, Katrina really honed her passion by developing an exceptional menu and wine list.

In 1999, she received her A.S.P.C degree (Association of Sommelier Professionals of Canada) at the Hotel Institute of Laval in Quebec. She was trained by renowned chef Francesco Laggi who has taught in several high-end Italian restaurants in Toronto and Washington D.C.

In 2001, Katrina took on her most prestigious role as the first-ever female sommelier at the Beaver Club, Queen Elizabeth Hotel, Montreal.

In her new role with Cork and Karma, Katrina is responsible for researching wines for our newsletter, VIP clients and tasting events. She also presents wine education and wine tastings in French.
